MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) -- Kansas State forward David Hoskins is
looking forward to playing for his fifth college coach this season.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound forward started at Central Michigan,
then took a redshirt the next season at Schoolcraft, Michigan.
In 2005, he transferred to Kansas State to play for Jim
Wooldridge. Then Wooldridge was fired and was replaced by former
Cincinnati coach Bob Huggins.
Then Huggins left, and he was followed by current coach Frank
Martin.
Hoskins says it has all been a "learning experience" for him.
Hoskins averaged about 14 points and six rebounds last season,
starting all 35 games.
This year's roster has five freshmen and two junior-college
transfers.
The Wildcats need a leader, and Hoskins says he's ready for that
role.
