on Kansas State, and Buffaloes coach Dan Hawkins has already
doubled his victory total from last year.

Buffaloes are lead the Big 12 North.

upsetting Oklahoma 27-24 the week before.
Kansas State (3-2, 1-1) is trying to rally from a loss to
in-state rival Kansas, which came just a week after the Wildcats
pounded Texas 41-21 in the Longhorns own stadium.

"a dead heat."
