KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Gavin Glinton scored on a header deep in
the penalty area as the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Kansas City
Wizards 1-0.
Glinton took a long pass from Mike Randolph and redirected the
ball from 5 yards into the right corner of the net, past Wizards
goalkeeper Kevin Hartman.
The Galaxy improved to 6-13-6 with 24 points and kept alive
their chances at making the MLS playoffs.
The Wizards slipped to 10-11-6, and with 36 points are in
precarious position for the playoffs.
Jimmy Conrad received a red card in the 57th minute and Davy
Arnaud received a red card in the 81st minute for the Wizards
