If 21-year-old Rory McIlroy was nervous on Saturday at the Masters, the young man from Northern Ireland wasn't showing it. On a sweltering day at Augusta National, McIlroy finished in the coolest spot — with a four-shot lead entering today's final round.
McIlroy fired a 2-under 70 to go 12 under par for 54 holes. That's good for a four-shot lead over K.J. Choi, 2009 Masters champion Angel Cabrera, Jason Day and Charl Schwartzel.
Tiger Woods backed up. He followed his brilliant 6-under 66 on Friday with a 2-over 74 that left the four-time Masters winner dropping expletives and screaming at himself. Woods is seven shots off the lead.
Australia's Adam Scott vaulted up the leaderboard with a 67 and is 7-under with 18 holes to play.
Defending champion Phil Mickelson shot 1-under 71 and is at minus-3, nine shots off the lead.
