High school football practices opened Monday, and few teams got an earlier start than Rose Hill. Practiced kicked off at 5:30 a.m.

Rose Hill enters the season as defending 4A champs. The Rockets will be in a rebuilding mode, losing many key players from last year's team. Quarterback T.J. Slade said he's counting on several juniors stepping up and contributing on the field.
