HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) -- Jaydan Bird had 99 of his 182 yards in
the fourth quarter with two touchdowns Saturday as Conway Springs
came from behind to beat Silver Lake 22-14 in the Class 3A
championship game.
Silver Lake (13-1) was leading 14-6 early in the fourth quarter

drive that ended with a one-yard touchdown run by Bird. The
two-point conversion tied it at 14-14.
Conway Springs (12-2) forced the Eagles to punt from their own 8

Bird ran 37 yards up the middle for a touchdown to put the
Cardinals on top, then added the two-point conversion for the final
tally.
Roberts, who threw for more than 2,500 yards this season, was 9
