A person close to Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino says Petrino's injuries from a motorcycle crash are "not life threatening."
The person would only comment Monday on the condition of
anonymity.
State police say Petrino veered off a highway near the community
of Crosses Sunday night and crashed his motorcycle. Police
spokesman Bill Sadler says Petrino was taken to a hospital for
treatment, but he declined to say which hospital and said he didn't
know if the coach was still at there or what his condition was.
Zack Higbee, a spokesman for Petrino, would not comment or
confirm Monday that the coach was involved in the crash.
