Wichita State Head Coach Gregg Marshall has turned down an offer to become the new head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, according to a report from the Omaha World-Herald.
The newspaper cites two sources close to Marshall and says the coach did not return phone calls for comment. Another source told the paper that Marshall was not interested in the position.
The annual salary for the coaching job at Nebraska is reportedly $2 million.
The school fired Doc Sadler as its head coach nearly two weeks ago.
