The 2013 KU Barnstorming event will take place Friday at Wichita East High School.

Kansas seniors Jeff Withey, Elijah Johnson, Kevin Young, and Travis Releford are all expected to be in attendance, playing with and against select Wichita State seniors and local high school standouts. The participating WSU seniors are not yet known, although Carl Hall, Ehimen Orukpe, Malcolm Armstead and Demetric Williams will comment on their possible participation Monday night at the WSU awards banquet, which is free and open to the public, at Koch Arena.

The KU seniors will be coached by former Jayhawk Conner Teahan and the Wichita All-Stars will be coached by former East head coach Ron Allen.

Future Jayhawk and Wichita North product Conner Frankamp will be recognized at the event. Current Jayhawk and former Wichita Heights star Perry Ellis has been extended an invitation.

Players will sign autographs at 6 pm, while game time is 8 pm.

Event organizers say there are still 300 tickets available, being sold at Tad's Locker Room, Sports Time Fan Shop West, Kansas Sampler, Watermark Books, and Citizen's East & West.
