K-State senior quarterback Collin Klein was named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
He accounted for seven touchdowns as the No. 4 Wildcats defeated No. 17 West Virginia, 55-14. Klein completed 19-of-21 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns and added 41 rushing yards and four scores. With the win, Kansas State improved to 7-0, 4-0 in the Big 12.
The Big 12 has earned the national offensive player of the week award three times this season with Geno Smith (West Virginia) picking up two honors earlier in the season.
