The expectations going into the 2012-2013 season for K-State athletics will be immense.
It will all begin with football.
Bill Snyder's Wildcat squad will no longer be the hunters, and new men's basketball coach, Bruce Weber, inherits an NCAA Tournament-ready team.
Wednesday night, both coaches and several players were in town to talk on the upcoming year at the annual Catbackers banquet.
Coach Snyder says he always enjoys visiting with K-State supporters.
"Well, I enjoy being with Kansas State people no matter where it happens to be," he says. "And Wichita people have been fantastic over the years."
Coach Weber says he's been impressed with his first tour of Kansas.
"No matter where we go with the Catbacker tour, we've had a great reception," Weber says. "It's just almost overwhelming.
