Josh Boyce (TCU), Allen Chapman (K-State) and Tyler Lockett (K-State) have been named Big 12 Football Players of the Week, as selected by a media panel. Boyce (offense) and Chapman (defense) picked up their first honor while Lockett (special teams) was recognized for the second time this season and fourth week in his career.

Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

Josh Boyce, TCU, WR, 6-0, 203, Jr, Copperas Cove, Texas
Josh Boyce had six receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns to spark TCU's 39-38 (2OT) victory at West Virginia. The junior's 94-yard touchdown catch and run with 1:28 to play forced overtime. He then made a diving catch on the game-winning two-point conversion in the second OT to give the Horned Frogs the win. Boyce also had a 31-yard TD grab in the game. His 94-yarder was the third-longest play in TCU history. The 180 receiving yards marked a career-high and his sixth-career 100-yard game. It also tied for the sixth-best single game performance in school history.

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

Allen Chapman, K-State, DB, Sr, San Francisco, Calif.
Allen Chapman led a K-State defense that picked off four passes and forced five Oklahoma State turnovers, resulting in 21 points in the Wildcats' 44-30 victory. His three interceptions tied for the second-most in school history and were the most by a Wildcat since Chris Canty had three against Akron in 1995. Chapman is one of six players with a nation-leading three interceptions in a game this season. His first interception was returned 29 yards for a touchdown to give K-State a 31-17 lead in the second quarter. It was the second pick-six of his career. In addition to his interceptions, Chapman recorded five tackles and batted away two other passes. He was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week.

Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

Tyler Lockett, K-State, KR, So, Tulsa, Okla.
Tyler Lockett returned two kickoffs for 127 yards, including a 100-yard touchdown that sparked the Wildcats in the second quarter in the win over Oklahoma State. It was the second kick return touchdown of the season for Lockett and the fourth of his career, which is tied for fourth in Big 12 history. It was also the second 100-yard return of his career (Texas Tech, 2011) and the fourth in school history.
