The dynamic duo of Sedgwick Seniors Trent Stucky and Daniel Vogt are this week's KAKE Sports Co-Athletes of the Week. Stucky, Vogt and the rest of the Cardinals maintained their perfect record with a 28-21 win over Garden Plain last Friday night. And all night it was Stucky-to-Vogt.
"They've really been a tandem for us for the last 2 years, "said Sedgwick head coach Jeff Werner. "He (Stucky) looks for him (Vogt) a lot and they just have a little connection there. I think as a duo, they're tough to beat."
Stucky completed 19 passes for 214 yards many of those to Vogt who had 183 receiving yards. But Vogt's one-handed grab off a perfect pass from Stucky stood out above the rest.
