Did you know Wichita used to have its own "Superstars" competition?

The Jim Hershberger MVP brought NFL and NBA stars along with Olympic champions to Wichita every summer to see who was the most versatile performer. It was the idea of a local businessman to see how he stacked up against elite athletes.
