Monetary donations are also accepted. All checks should be made out to “The Salvation Army” with “School Supply Landslide” noted on the memo line at the bottom of the check.
The Salvation Army distributes donated supplies to parents and students in Sedgwick County. For information about eligibility, call 263-2769.
Proud supporters of the School Supply Landslide include KAKE TV, Credit Union of America, Entercom Radio, Wichita Business Journal, Vatterott College, Arby’s, Wichita Public Schools and the Salvation Army.
School Supply Landslide began in 1996 as a response to concerns expressed by area educators and parents about children coming to school without the supplies they need. Last year, School Supply Landslide distributed school supplies to over 6,000 Wichita-area students.
