Enrollment for the USD 259 2013-2014 school year begins Monday.
The Wichita Public Schools is implementing a new student information system which will require changes to the enrollment process for this fall. The online system that the district has used in the past is no longer available, and parents’ Parent Assistant username and password no longer work.
With the implementation of the new student system, USD 259 will be going back to a paper and pencil process for the 2013-2014 school year.
Parents can complete some enrollment forms prior to going to the school by going to www.enroll.usd259.org.
The ‘District Enrollment Forms’ will allow parents to complete, print, sign the forms and then deliver them to the school at enrollment.
Parents will have to obtain a new ParentVUE account to access the new system. Because of the sheer volume during enrollment, many schools may opt to not create the ParentVUE accounts until sometime after enrollment. During this transition to the new system, only the Student Profile in the old system will be available to complete using the online ParentVUE Portal.
Parents are asked to contact thier child's school for questions regarding the new enrollment process.
The enrollment times are:
- July 29: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- July 30: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- July 31: 12 – 7 p.m.
- August 1: 12 – 7 p.m.
