A water main break gave students at one Clearwater school a lesson in improvising today.
The water main break was discovered after the students had arrived at Clearwater Elementary West, 100 S. Prospect.
Bottled water was brought to the school, and students were allowed to go to the district offices across the parking lot for bathroom breaks.
Water service was restored by 10:30 a.m.
