Three Kansas superintendent have been named finalists as the Valley Center school district searches for a new leader.
The U.S.D. 262 Board of Education chose four candidates to replace outgoing Superintendent Scott Springston. He resigned earlier this year to take a similar job in Missouri.
The four finalists are: Mark Crawford, Hugoton superintendent; Paul Dorathy, Baldwin City superintendent; Cory Gibson, Halstead superintendent; and Brad Reed, director of student services in Bentonville, Ark.
Interviews will be conducted between April 30th and May 3rd.
