Three Wichita teenagers have been arrested for damaging a Westside school.
It happened at West High School, 820 S. Osage, around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the school’s principal was working in the building when he noticed some fire extinguishers had been damaged. The principal also reported someone had tampered with lockers. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
The school official used surveillance tape to identify suspects, police said. He noticed four suspects, and called 911.
Officers arrested a 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old girl. Investigators are still working on locating a 15-year-old boy in connection to the crime.
The teenagers were booked into juvenile custody for burglary to a non-residence and vandalism.
