Tabor College To Freeze Tuition Rates

November 7, 2011

For the first time since the mid-70s, Tabor College will freeze the cost of tuition.

The announcement was made on the Hillsboro campus this morning.

There will be increase in room and board in the coming year to cover fixed costs related to dining and
housing that have increased.

“There has been a growing gap between what families can afford
to pay toward tuition and final tuition expenses after the various forms of financial aid are exhausted,” Tabor Vice Presdent of enrollment management Rusty Allen said. “At least for one year, we are glad to take steps that do not increase that gap for students who wish to
attend Tabor College. This should have a positive impact for new and returning students alike.”

The announcement was made today during Chapel.
