College Hill Elementary teachers reported back to school today at the former Bryant Elementary school building.
"People have worked around the clock for us," said Phyllis Kewley, teacher. "We're going to be ready. We want to see our kids."
Crews have been restoring utilities, cleaning the building, and bringing in supplies to the temporary school.
Students will start school on Monday.

We have new details on the relocation on students from one Wichita elementary school to another.
Superintendent Allison calls the new building, former Bryant Elementary, “College Hill West.” It will be the temporary building for College Hill students displaced by the recent fire.
New details on transportation show that students will be picked up at their regular bus stops and taken to the new building.
As for students who are dropped off or walk to school, they will gather at the cafeteria at College Hill Elementary and then will then be taken to the new building.
“We've been able to take care of the transportation for all the students,” Allison said. “We'll provide additional details to parents during Sunday’s open house and meet the teacher event, as well as phone messages and other communication later today.”
Latchkey programs will take place at College Hill Elementary, in the cafeteria and two music rooms.
The Pre-K program will be hosted by Price Harris Elementary.
An open house is scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m.
