A middle school student has been arrested in connection to a bomb threat at a Butler county school.
The Remington Middle School in Whitewater was evacuated Thursday morning after someone found a printed threat.
About 150 students and faculty were evacuated to a nearby church while authorities searched the building. Investigators found nothing suspicious. Classes resumed around 1:30 p.m.
Sheriff Kelly Herzet, Butler County, said deputies arrested an 11-year-old boy Friday in connection to the incident. The juvenile has been charged with aggravated criminal threat.
