HUTCHINSON, Kan. -- Police are investigating after a man allegedly exposed himself to two Hutchinson elementary school students.
The incident happened Thursday morning about two blocks from Lincoln Elementary School, located in the 300 block of East Bigger Street.
A 30-something man in a gray car approached the two students and asked in they'd like to see a picture of his puppy, said Ray Hemman, public information director for Hutchinson public schools.
The man then allegedly exposed himself and the students ran away, Hemman said. He added that the students were well trained and did the right thing.
Police were notified of the incident and continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.
Hemman said the district wants to make parents aware of the situation and warn students about "stranger danger."
