A former paraeducator for the Clearwater school district has been sentenced to jail in connection to sex crimes with a student.
Amber Dull pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual relations in May. She was arrested last year after police responded to a tip that she and a 17-year-old student were having an affair.
On Tuesday, Sedgwick County District Judge Waller ordered Dull to six months in prison, that was suspended. She was instead ordered to serve one-year probation.
Dull was an employee of the Sedgwick County Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative, not the Clearwater school district. Paraeducators serve as teacher assistants, working under the teacher's direction.
