Heat Plan Cancelled

August 26 - The Wichita Public Schools' will have full days of classes beginning Monday, August 30. The district's heat plan schedule will not be extended and will be discontinued after Friday, August 27.

District officials have been watching the projected weather forecasts from three independent forcasting agencies. Temperatures are predicted to be in the mid-to-high 80's. With these temperatures, district officials believe it will be cool enough to have students in the classroom for the entire day.
