Prosecutors have dropped charges against a woman accused of stealing from a Leavenworth High School booster club.

Leavenworth County Attorney Todd Thompson said Monday that a felony theft charge had been dropped against Cheri Harper, the former treasurer of the parent-run football booster club.

The Leavenworth Times reports that Thompson said there was not enough evidence to pursue charges. He said the booster club could not find some documents prosecutors needed.

Harper pleaded not guilty in November 2009.
