Science class comes with a big lesson in creative thinking at Harper Elementary School. Science and math teacher Ed Vickers challenges the students through the "Science Spectacular".
Students are asked to build projects in three areas;
* A paper airplane made of no more than two sheets of copy paper, glue and tape. The plane that stays in the air the longest gets a blue ribbon.
* A car with a milk carton for a body and powered by a balloon. Students can use any type of wheels they want.
* A carrying case for an egg sturdy enough that the egg survives being dropped from the roof of the school. Students can pack the case with anything but regular packing material. Things from jello to cereal to frosting were used to protect the egg.
