Elluminate Live! allows a faculty member to utilize web, video, audio, and
social networking to create a learning community linking learners across all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, and Solaris). It is also optimized for low
bandwidth, which allows easy access for learners worldwide. Using this software, Southwestern College Professional Studies is moving nine accounting courses online.

More than 1,900 students attend classes at the main Winfield campus, at five Professional Studies sites in Kansas (including McConnell AFB and Fort Riley) and Oklahoma, or online around the world. Professional Studies delivers programs for adult learners with three or more years of full-time work experience.
