Students at Hamilton Middle School will begin the spring semester all in one building, after a year of being educated in two school buildings. The students have been in separate buildings since January.

Wichita Public School Service Center crews will move classroom items from Longfellow to Hamilton over the holiday break. Students will return to Hamilton on Tuesday, January 5th instead of Monday. The extra day of winter break will allow teachers to move back into their classrooms.

Repair work that needed to be done in the original 1918 portion of the school forced some of the students to be relocated to the vacant Longfellow school building for a year.
