April 15- Wichita school superintendent Winston Brooks has been invited back to Polk County, Florida for a second interview for the job of superintendent. Brooks completed his first interview today.
"I will return to Polk County to continue a dialogue centered on improving the lives of children through education," Brooks said. "While I am interested in the opportunity to talk with the Polk County school board again, neither I, nor Polk County, have made a decision about the position. This is simply the next step in the process."
Brooks is one of three finalists for the job. The second round of interviews will be held on April 21 & 22.
