When we hear about our local schools we often hear reports about budget cuts or test scores. But there are many, many interesting, surprising and "cool" things happening in Kansas schools.
Students at Wichita Heights High School are learning what it takes to keep "hogs" on the road. Students spend time learning how to repair Harley Davidson motorcycles. It's the only Harley Davidson repair course offered at any high school in the nation, and students can earn college credit.
The students learn to work together, learn to read a shop manual and how to use precision measuring tools.
