Voters Approve Fowler School District Dome Project

A western Kansas town will soon have a very unique high school.

Voters have approved the Fowler school district's $2 million bond issue to build a dome structure which will connect to the high school.

The 13,000 square foot dome will be used as a multipurpose facility in the small Meade County town southwest of Dodge City.

Superintendent Sam Seybold said the dome will be both cost- and energy-efficient.
