Students at Benton Grade School participated in a mock election.
Kindergarten through third grade students were able to vote for either John McCain or Barack Obama while fourth through sixth grade students had the opportunity to choose from the Constitution, Libertarian, Green and Independent parties in addition to the Republican and Democratic candidates.
Once all the votes were tallied, the McCain-Palin ticket won the Benton school election.
