Washburn University is offering $12,500 for anyone providing information on who intentionally started a fire in a dorm early Saturday that caused an estimated $1 million in damage.
Nearly 400 students were evacuated from the four-story Living Learning Center residence hall around 5:30 a.m. after fire alarms sounded. Students weren't allowed back into their rooms until more than five hours later.
Investigators believe the fire that was confined to one of the center's elevators as a case of arson.
No damage was reported to student rooms and there were no injuries.
