Wichita Police are investigating a threat made against a Northwest High School student that was sent by instant message.
Police provided an update on the case this morning.
Officers said a 14-year-old boy sent an instant message to a computer, threatening to harm a 15-year-old girl. Both teens are students at Northwest High School.
The Wichita School District sent out automated calls to parents of Northwest High Students this morning, advising them of the situation. Administrators said there was no threat of violence made against the school.
