Wednesday morning, Butler Community College hosted a ceremonial
Department of Commerce grant signing to celebrate the advent of its
latest venture, a new welding facility in Hillsboro.
The school expects to train more than 125 new welders in the next three years. Butler President Jackie Vietti was on hand to commemorate the event.
