School Explosion
Nov. 24. - Two construction workers were hurt Wednesday morning when an explosion ripped through Marshall Middle School in Riverside.

The construction crew hit a natural gas line sparking the explosion. The blast did extensive damage to the school, which was not in session. The workers weren't seriously hurt.

The explosions happened at a time kids would have been in class, but fortunately school is out for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Neighbors heard a loud explosion around 8:30 a.m. The blast shook other homes in the neighborhood, breaking windows and throwing debris from the school into some homes.
