Wichita Gym Classes Get $1 Million Grant

October 14- Wichita Public Schools are getting
one-point-three million dollars from the Department of
Education, a three-year grant designed to help children get more
exercise and eat healthier foods. And the Southwest Plains Regional
Service Center in Sublette is getting just under 800-thousand
dollars.

The grants were announced today by Education Secretary Rod
Paige. They are part of a program that's under the No Child Left
Behind Act.
