Shrimp Piquant (Rock'In Hot)

"Cooking with KAKE" - Recipe of the Week February 13, 2004
Ingredients:


  • 2 TBS. Veg. Oil

  • 1 Cup Diced Onion

  • 1 Cup Diced Celery

  • 1 Cup Diced Green Pepper

  • 1 Cup Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 2 Teaspoon Garlic

  • 1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Fresh Jalapenos

  • 1 TBS. Tabasco

  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth

  • 1 LB. Raw Peeled and Deveined Shrimp

Directions:

  1. Place oil in pan and add all ingredients except shrimp.

  2. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.

  3. Add Raw Shimp.

  4. Simmer for only 5 minutes more.

  5. Serve over white rice or dirty rice.
