Pull Apart Bacon Bread - October 30, 2006

Ingredients:
Dough
- 3/4 Cup Whole Milk
- 6 Tablespoons Melted Margarine
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Fleischmann's RapidRise yeast or Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
Topping
12 Bacon Strips, Diced
- 2 Tablespoons Vega table Oil, Divided
- 1 Cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 Envelope (1 oz.) Ranch Salad Dressing Mix

Directions:
- Add dough ingredients to bread machine in order given.
- Set machine on dough cycle and start.
- Towards end of cycle, fry bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel.
- When dough cycle is completed, roll dough out to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Brush with one tablespoon oil.
- Cut into 1 inch pieces.
- Place in large bowl. Add the bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil, toss to coat.
- Arrange pieces in a 9X15 inch oval on a cornmeal dusted baking stone or lightly greased and cornmeal dusted baking sheet, layering as needed.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cover with foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until golden brown.
