Investigators are searching for suspects in connection to a weekend house fire in northeast Wichita.
It happened in the 1400 block of N. Vassar Saturday night. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the second story of the home.
Capt. Stuart Bevis, Wichita fire investigations, said it appears the fire was set intentionally.
"Once we got inside to do our investigation, it turns out there had been heavy vandalism inside the house," Bevis said.
No one lived at the home. Damage is estimated at $20,000.
