A local restaurant giving back to help victims of the devastating Joplin tornado.

Noodles & Company hosting a marketwide benefit event to support Heart to Heart International and its efforts to provide medical relief to Joplin, Mo., residents in the wake of the devastating tornado.

Heart to Heart International (HHI), an international medical response organization located in Kansas City, Mo., has provided more than 2,000 care kits to Joplin and has set up an onsite medical clinic to care for people injured during the tornadoes as well as those supporting the relief effort.

Noodles & Company will donate 25 percent of sales raised from the benefit to the non-profit organization. The fundraiser kicks off Wednesday, June 8 from 5 to 9 p.m.
