Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has appointed Dennis Taylor to director of the state lottery. Taylor has spent the past two years as Kansas Secretary of Administration.
During his tenure, he has overseen the establishment of the Office of Repealer and worked to reduce the administration workforce by 12% and played a key role in the state-wide voluntary retirement incentive program.
In a news release, Governor Brownback said, "Dennis’ 35 years of public management experience will ensure the Kansas Lottery continues its path of growth and success.”
Taylor is replacing Dennis Wilson who stepped down as lottery director earlier this year due to health issues.
