The primary elections are set in the races for Wichita School Board and City Council.

In USD 259, a primary will be held in District 5 only. The candidates are Lanora Nolan, Peter Grant and Jutta Steil-Epperly.

Primaries will be held in two Wichita City Council districts. In District 1, Ricky Ransom, James Barfield will take on incumbent Lavonta Williams.

There are four candidates in District 6--Bob Aldrich, Damon Isaacs, Ken Thomas and Janet Miller.

An interesting race is shaping up for Park City Mayor. Current Mayor Dee Stuart takes on former Mayor Emil Berquist and George Capps.

The primary election will be held March 3rd, when the races will be narrowed to two candidates.
