Kansas Board To Certify Election Results

November's election results from Kansas will become official Wednesday.

That's when Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh will convene the Kansas Board of Canvassers to certify the results. The board's three members are Thornburgh, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and Attorney General Steve Six. Both Sebelius and Six are expected to send representatives to the meeting.

The board will approve final election results, including figures for president, four seats in the U.S. House, one Senate seat, all 165 seats of the Kansas Legislature and county offices and numerous local ballot issues.
