If Barack Obama gets as much help with the economy as he's been getting on picking a dog for his daughters, the financial crisis could be solved by, say, February.
Here's the latest bit of advice on what kind of dog to get for his girls. Last week, Obama said one issue he's facing in choosing a dog is the fact that his older daughter is allergic to most pooches.
Now, a group called The Friends of the Peruvian Hairless Dog Association says it has the solution: the Peruvian hairless dog. It's completely bald, but what it lacks in a coat, it makes up with rough skin.
It also has large ears and a pointy snout. The Hairless Dog Association has sent a letter to the U.S. Embassy in Peru, offering the Obama family a 4-month-old pup.
The hairless dog has suffered for its less-than-attractive looks before being named the official dog of Peru.
