Kids Vote In Kansas: 2008 Results

Kids in 33 Kansas counties took part in Kids Voting Kansas, a mock election held Tuesday.

Out of 47,314 votes cast, Barack Obama won 52.5% of the vote and John McCain won 44.4%. Other candidates on the ballot got the remainder.

Elementary Schools: 1,819 votes, Obama/Biden, 52.9%; McCain/Palin, 47.1%.

Middle School: 665 votes, Obama/Biden, 55.5%; McCain/Palin, 41.5%.

High School: 1,004 votes, Obama/Biden, 47.1%; McCain/Palin, 45.3%.
