Former President Campaigns For Obama

Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for Democrat Barack Obama in suburban St. Louis.

Clinton's visit to Kirkwood Monday evening follows on the heels of Obama's visit to Missouri on Saturday.

An estimated 100,000 people turned out for Obama's rally in St. Louis on Saturday. He drew thousands more at a Kansas City rally that evening.

The Obama campaign said the St. Louis crowd was the largest for an Obama event in the U.S.

Missouri, a critical swing state, has been getting lots of presidential attention lately.

Republican John McCain is campaigning in Missouri on Monday. Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Carole King will travel across Missouri this week for Obama.

Polls show Obama and McCain in a virtual dead heat in Missouri.
