Envision and the Wichita Association for the Visually Handicapped are conducting an accessible voting clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, at the new Envision facility, 610 N. Main St.
For the first time, the entire state has accessible voting machines in every polling location. That means that people who are blind can finally cast a private ballot.
We'll have the new accessible voting machines, and are inviting members of the disability community to come, register to vote, and try them out. There's a mock ballot you can vote. Many of these individuals have never voted before.
