Less than two hours before kickoff, Indianapolis Colts star Dwight Freeney has worked out on the field at Sun Life Stadium, testing his ailing right ankle.

Freeney, wearing shorts and a sweatshirt, did some running and even tried out a spin move. He didn't appear to be limping, waving to the crowd as he headed back to the locker room Sunday. But it's still not known if he'll be in uniform against the New Orleans Saints.

The defensive end hasn't practiced since tearing a ligament in his ankle late in the AFC championship game two weeks ago. He was listed as questionable coming into the game.
